The Municipality of Anchorage Public Transportation Department is planning a new Transit Transfer Facility to replace the current bus stop on 6th Avenue at the Anchorage Museum of History and Art.  Design of the new facility is timely and its design will complement the expansion of the Museum.  It is the first Public Transportation/People Mover bus stop eastbound from downtown, and will provide a safe, attractive place to catch a bus.  The new facility will link the Museum and the Central Business District and incorporate Winter City features.
